Welcome

Welcome to my inaugural post. I know I'm way late to this whole blog scene and I'm not quite sure how it's going to pan out, but people keep saying that I should have one, so I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm planning on a bit of a mixed format. Some personal musings, but also a whole lot of tips about living in this wonderful city I call home.
There will be restaurant reviews, places to go around town, and probably some stories about strange T characters. I'll try to include as much as possible about the whole area, but there's definitely going to be a bit of Cambridge/ Somerville bias since it's where I spend most of my time.

The first place I want to recommend is the Radcliffe Sunken Garden. The picture in my profile on the side bar is from this past weekend, from our engagement party which we held there. We got engaged a few months ago, but this was our official announcement/ celebration, and it was an amazing, wonderful party, I had such a great time! I've never had a catered party before - unless you're counting my bat mitzvah - and I had little bit of crazy stress before hand but luckily, my fiance and I make a great team and we have an awesome group of friends and family who helped us get everything right and also (of course) helped us celebrate. Even without the incentive of an engagement party, it is definitely worth checking out.
On the corner of Apian Way and Garden St. it's a great place for a picnic on the lawn, or sitting on a bench either in the shade or next to the fountain. Next time you have a minute in Harvard Sq., drop by and enjoy a little secret garden.
